Using Dataviews

Once a dataview meets your needs, you can use it to retrieve and inspect data. With the button “Export as XLSX” you save them locally as an Excel file.

Requesting Data§

If the dataview contains parameters, you can fill them out by clicking “Fill out Parameters”. You can then enter the desired values in the blue fields and click “Show Results”. The table will contain all the data that match the filters.

Click the left or right edge of a table header and drag the cursor to make the column wider or narrower.

Sort the table according to the contents of a column by clicking the triangles in the table header:

  • If you sort and close the dataview, this sorting will be applied when you open it again later.
  • The sorting is also applied in the Excel file that you obtain via the “Export as XLSX” button.

Inspecting Data§

There are several ways to inspect data in the table:

  • Double-click a row to open the inspector for the element of that row or right-click a row and select “Show Info”.
  • If a value in a column appears in blue, you can click it to open an inspector.
