Yesplan 29, apr 2023

De update vindt plaats in de komende weken:

  • Je krijgt een week voor de update een melding in Yesplan met de datum en het uur.
  • Je krijgt na de update opnieuw een melding in Yesplan om te bevestigen dat alles goed verlopen is.

Verouderde functionaliteit§

Om de werking van Yesplan te verbeteren is het soms nodig om onderdelen te verwijderen of te wijzigen. Als dat mogelijk processen verstoort, plaatsen we dergelijke functionaliteit eerst bij “Verouderde functionaliteit”.

Definitief gewijzigd 👋§

In Yesplan 28 kondigden we aan dat bepaalde aspecten van Yesplan zouden verdwijnen of veranderen. In Yesplan 29 verandert onderstaande functionaliteit definitief:

  • De keywords “anycomment”, “anycontactinfo” en “anylabel” zijn verwijderd uit Yesplan.
  • De modus “Draft” is verwijderd uit de evenementenkalender.
  • Labels worden voortaan overal in Yesplan alfabetisch gesorteerd.
  • De rechten voor diensten en pauzes in de Teamplanner worden voortaan bepaald door het recht “Boek” op de resource.

Verander zelf handmatig§

Volgende functionaliteit is standaard nog aanwezig in Yesplan 29, maar we raden aan om zo snel mogelijk over te schakelen:

  • In de API worden de URL’s van links in bijlagevelden geëncodeerd.
  • De REST API verpakt customdatavelden voor externe data van het type “Getal” als tekst. De REST API kan deze waarden ook doorsturen als getallen, maar dan moet je eerst je bestaande integraties controleren en aanpassen indien nodig. Zie Types van externe gegevens voor meer informatie.

Datumformaat§

Je kan voortaan in de systeemvoorkeuren het datumformaat van je Yesplan-installatie bepalen:

  • “Dag Maand Jaar”: Bijv. ‘27-02-2023’, ‘27 feb 2023’ of ‘ma 27 feb 2023’.
  • “Maand Dag Jaar”: Bijv. ‘02/27/2023’, ‘feb 27, 2023’ of ‘ma feb 27, 2023’.
  • “Jaar Maand Dag”: Bijv. ‘2023-02-27’, ‘27 feb 2023’ of ‘ma 27 feb 2023’.

Let op

Het datumformaat dat je selecteert in de systeemvoorkeuren heeft geen invloed op datums op onderstaande plaatsen:

  • De zoektaal en queries via de API verwachten altijd het formaat dd-mm-jjjj.
  • In de logbestanden die je kan downloaden via “Systeeminstellingen” > “Audit” > “Updates” verschijnen datums in de kolom “Date” voortaan in het formaat jjjj-mm-dd hh:mm, bijv. ‘2023-02-27 13:01’.

Algemeen§

  • Als je voor een element een customdataveld aanpast via de Excel Add-in, dan zal dit als een update verschijnen op het tabblad “Historiek” van het infovenster van dat element.
  • In de tabbladen “Resources” en “Team” van het infovenster voor evenementen verschijnt voortaan een melding als een evenement of evenementgroep nog geen resourceboekingen bevat. Dat maakt het makkelijker om er gekopieerde resourceboekingen te plakken: klik rechts op de melding en kies de actie “Plak”. Lees meer over het kopiëren van resourceboekingen.

Systeeminstellingen§

  • Het scherm voor de instellingen van rechten voor indivuele gebruikers toont nu bovenaan enkel de toegepaste rechtensjablonen voor die gebruiker:
    • De gebruikersgroepen verschijnen niet meer.
    • Je kan geen rechtensjablonen meer toevoegen of verwijderen vanuit dit scherm.
    • Voor alle duidelijkheid: het gaat om het scherm dat je bereikt door voor een gebruiker te klikken op “Toon instellingen rechten” in “Systeeminstellingen” > “Gebruikers” > “Gebruikers”.
  • Het beheren van rechten en mogelijkheden verloopt op een nieuwe manier in rechtensjablonen en de instellingen van rechten voor individuele gebruikers:
    • Deze schermen bevatten nu de knoppen “Wijzig mogelijkheden…” en “Wijzig rechten…” om respectievelijk de mogelijkheden en de rechten aan passen.
    • Als je op deze knoppen klikt zal een nieuw venster openenen waarin je mogelijkheden of rechten afzonderlijk kan wijzigen.
    • Je slaat je wijzigingen pas op als je in dit venster klikt op “Toepassen”.
    • Als je kolommen toevoegt voor de statussen van evenementen, dan verschijnen deze kolommen in de volgorde van de statussen. Voordien verschenen ze in de volgorde waarin ze toegevoegd waren aan de sjabloon.
  • In “Systeeminstellingen” > “Contacten” > “Voorkeuren” toont de keuzelijst voor “Standaard taal voor nieuwe contacten” voortaan zowel de naam als de ISO taalcode voor elke beschikbare taal.
  • Het verwijderen van een locatie in “Systeeminstellingen” > “Resources” > “Locaties” verschijnt voortaan als een update in het navigatiemenu onder “Updates” en in de logbestanden die je kan downloaden in “Systeeminstellingen” > “Audit” > “Updates”.

Integraties§

  • Voor ticketingintegraties is de nachtelijke automatische update van actieve evenementen veranderd:
    • Voor actieve evenementen in het verleden haalt Yesplan voortaan automatisch enkel de gegevens op van evenementen tot één jaar terug. Oudere evenementen kan je nog probleemloos manueel synchroniseren.
    • Voor actieve evenementen in de toekomst verandert niets: Yesplan blijft de gegevens automatisch ophalen van alle actieve evenementen in de toekomst.
  • In Mercurius Export kan je voortaan een customdataveld op het evenement exporteren voor het bestelbonnummer.

Bugfixes§

  • If you open the “Resources”, “Team” or “Location” tabs of the event inspector on the level of a group, then events will expand automatically again if they contain bookings that aren’t common to all events in the group. The same will happen in the “Schedules” tab with respect to schedule items. We unintentionally changed this behavior in Yesplan 28, so we revert to the correct behavior in Yesplan 29.
  • If you copied resource bookings within an event group, it was hard to see where these bookings could be pasted in the “Resources” or “Team” tab if the event or group didn’t contain any resource bookings yet. From now on, you will see instructions, and you can right-click on them to paste the resource bookings that you copied.
  • In the contact inspector, an error occurred in the drop-down menu for “Country” if a country had already been selected and you selected the empty option in the menu.
  • External access was activated for the update logs in “System Settings” > “Audit” > “Updates”.
  • If you deleted a contact, only the update about the deletion remained in the “History” tab, and if you undid the deletion, the update about the deletion was the only one that didn’t appear.
  • In the event calendar, you were able to open an event inspector for an unavailability.
  • When you changed the start time and end time of an unavailability in the event calendar, the ensuing update description was unclear.
  • An error occurred if you entered an incorrect date (e.g. ‘31 February 2023’) when publishing rosters, or if an incorrect date was sent to the API.
  • If you changed the capability in a permission template to create events, the change was only applied when users with this template logged out and logged in again.
  • Some date pickers didn’t follow the setting “Earliest possible year in date pickers is” of Yesplan’s system preferences.
  • The actions “Expand All” and “Collapse All” didn’t work correctly in the inspector tabs “Schedules”, “Location”, “Team”, “Resources” and “Task” if you changed the focus from the group level to an event, and then back to the group level.
  • If you opened the drop-down menu for saved queries in a finder, and you pointed the cursor at one of them, all options in the menu became highlighted instead of just the one you were pointing at. Moreover, the options weren’t always sorted alphabetically.
  • Dataviews didn’t display the role of a contact booking if the booked contact was wiped permanently.
  • When downloading a translation file for a report template, a “Busy” spinner appeared in the bottom right corner of Yesplan, even when the download had already finished.
  • An error occurred when showing the results of a dataview if the name of a column contained quotes or a backslash.
  • In Teamplanner, the counter “Total Overtime Week” showed an incorrect value if you used the date picker to navigate to a specific date.
  • If you imported contacts, and your CSV file contained a column for a custom data field of type “Publication trigger” for a webhook, then the results of the import stated that the update was aborted, while it was actually executed.
  • When you clicked a checkbox in the “Event” column of a user’s permissions settings, then the checkboxes for this permission also changed in any column for a specific event status. To be clear, this bug only occurred in the screen that you reach by clicking “Show Permission Settings” for a user in “System Settings” > “Users” > “Users”.
  • If you changed the date of an event in Yesplan, then an update was sent to the ticketing system twice for integrations that used the Generic Ticketing Module.
  • If the value of a custom data field of type “Date input” referred to tomorrow, then it displayed “Tomorrow” in the Yesplan App instead of showing the date.
  • In dataviews, the icon of a parameter for the time didn’t appear correctly.
  • In Teamplanner, an error occurred if you copied and pasted a booking, unavailability, shift or break on a day with Daylight Savings Time.
  • The drop-down menu for “Publish” on the settings page of a webhook integration also allowed you to select publication triggers for other integrations.

Minor Releases§

Yesplan 29.18§

  • 🐞 Bugfix (29.17 regression): It was no longer possible to select “Teamplanner” in the column “Allowed to view” of permission templates.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: Some bookings didn’t appear in the rosters in the Yesplan App on the day that Daylight Saving Time (summer time) ended.

Yesplan 29.17§

  • 🐞 Bugfix: If you upgraded to AFAS Profit 1, the AFAS contacts integration stopped synchronizing if there were contacts for which the gender wasn’t filled out in AFAS.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: In the “Allowed to view” column of the capabilities in a permission template, you were able to select and deselect all tabs of an inspector by clicking the name of the inspector.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: It was possible that not all bookings appeared in the “Bookings” tab of the contact inspector if your browser was zoomed in or zoomed out.

Yesplan 29.16§

  • ✨ Improvement: In Cevi Export, you can no longer export data if your export contains resource bookings with prices that you don’t have the “View” permission for.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: An internal error occurred if you exported the search results to Excel in the events finder and the contacts finder.

Yesplan 29.15§

  • ✨ Improvement: You can now decide whether the API ignores the “Allowed to view” capability for inspector tabs when checking permissions for custom data fields. Learn more.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: In Cevi Export, an internal error occurred if your export contained resource bookings with prices that you don’t have the “View” permission for.

Yesplan 29.14§

  • 🐞 Bugfix: If no custom data field was selected for “Invoice Date” in the integration’s settings, then an internal error occurred in Cevi Export and Mercurius Export when you grouped by customer.

Yesplan 29.13§

  • 🐞 Bugfix: In the Generic Ticketing API, no update was sent to the ticketing system if the inherited value of a mapped custom data field changed because its event was moved to a different event group.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: After maintenance of Yesplan servers, users weren’t able to search for contacts in the Themis integration.

Yesplan 29.12§

  • 🐞 Bugfix: If you chose a locale (e.g. ‘en-US’) for a report template in the field “Report language”, then Yesplan sometimes erroneously displayed a locale for the same language, but with a different country (e.g. ‘en-GB’).

Yesplan 29.11§

  • ✨ Improvement: In Cevi Export, the calculation of the field “TotaalBedragFacturen” in the exported XML is now aligned with the way that total amounts are calculated in Cevi.

Yesplan 29.9–29.10§

  • 🐞 Bugfix (29.6 regression): In ticketing integrations, the status of a publication trigger changed whenever a linked field was sent to the ticketing system, leading to many unnecessary emails if an update rule was set for the publication trigger.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: Users were unable to sign in to the Excel Add-in if they connected using Citrix.

Yesplan 29.8§

  • ✨ Improvement: In the query language, searching an event by name now goes faster in case the first words in the name are short or shared by many events.
  • ✨ Improvement: The nightly synchronization in the Ticketmatic 3 integration will now retrieve data for active events of up to one year ago, instead of 28 days previously.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: The nightly synchronization of remote data in the Ticketmatic 3 integration could fail if there was a large number of events in the future.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: An internal error occured if you scheduled a roster publication for later without changing the date in the field “Publish on”.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: In Cevi Export, the calculation of the field “TotaalBedragFacturen” wasn’t based on the rounded amounts of the fields “totaalBedragFactuur”. This yielded an error when importing the XML file into Cevi.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: In Cevi Export, every minor release of Yesplan reset the IDs for invoices and exports, while these IDs had to be unique and increment on each export.
  • 🐞 Bugfix (29.4 regression): If you sorted report templates by date, the order of the list wasn’t always correct.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: In “Reports” > “Read-Only Calendar”, the column for the dates didn’t align correctly with events if you scrolled vertically.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: It was possible that a dataview didn’t update when you scrolled.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: The text “Default for Person” and “Default for Organization” was illegible in “System Settings” > “Contacts” > “Address Types”.

Yesplan 29.7§

  • ✨ Improvement: The Excel Add-in extended support for number formats that display negative numbers in red.
  • 🐞 Bugfix (29.6 regression): An internal error occurred if you opened the tab “Attachments” of the task inspector.

Yesplan 29.4–29.6§

  • ✨ Improvement: In integrations that use the Generic Ticketing Module, the publication trigger will now display an error message when the mapping for a custom data field of type “Dropdown” is not set correctly.
  • 🐞 Bugfix (28.0 regression): It was no longer possible to select a date via the date picker if it was earlier than the value for “Earliest possible year in date pickers is” in “System Settings” > “System Preferences”.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: In Teamplanner, the “Week Contract Time” counter for a human resource didn’t update correctly when the end of the contract and the end of the week didn’t coincide and you removed a date decoration from the field “Not Supposed to Work on” in the human resource’s contract.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: In Cevi Export, the exported XML file contained an error, resulting in an incorrect house number after importing the file into Cevi.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: In Teamplanner, it was still possible to paste bookings on a human resource that you didn’t have the “Book” permission for in the following situation:
    • You copied both an event booking and another booking from a human resource that you had the “Book” permission for and a human resource that you didn’t have the “Book” permission for.
    • Next, you could paste all the bookings regardless of the permissions if you used the action “Paste on” on the human resource that you had the “Book” permission for.
  • 🔧 This release includes stability improvements.

Yesplan 29.3§

  • 🐞 Bugfix: An error occurred when you only filled out the time on a custom data field of type “Date and time input”.

Yesplan 29.2§

  • ✨ Improvement: The Generic Ticketing API now accepts null for the “starttime” and “endtime” attributes in GET requests.
  • ✨ Improvement: The ‘+’ icon in front of actions such as “Add User” and “Add a Field” wasn’t aligned correctly.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: In Teamplanner, it was possible to paste a booking on a human resource you didn’t have the “Book” permission for. This occurred when you also pasted a booking on a human resource you did have the “Book” permission for in the same action.
  • 🔧 This release includes stability improvements.

Yesplan 29.1§

  • ❇️ New: In Cevi Export and Mercurius Export:
    • You can now export all events in the table of results, by using the “Export All…” button.
    • You can now choose to group the export by customer, or by event or event group.
  • ✨ Improvement: Selected slots in “Find Availability” now receive a yellow background, which makes it easier to distinguish them from slots that weren’t selected.
  • ✨ Improvement: The drop-down menus for custom data keywords in integration settings can no longer grow too wide, reducing the need for a horizontal scroll bar to appear.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: If you created custom data fields/blocks/groups that had the same name, then this could lead to internal errors because their keywords weren’t unique.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: If you exported data via “Search” in the navigation menu, then columns for system fields could contain values of custom data fields if those custom data fields had a keyword that referred to a system field, such as ‘resource_name’.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: In Teamplanner counters, the month October contained an extra working day because of the leap hour for Daylight Savings Time.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: If you selected a date via the date picker for the setting “Reset Holiday Counter” in a human resource’s contract, then the date didn’t appear in the field until you also entered a time in the field next to it.
  • 🐞 Bugfix: In “System Settings” > “Teamplanner” > “Contracts”, four-digit values for the fields “Average Hours per Month”, “Average Hours per Year” and “Holidays (in Hours)” (e.g. ‘2000’) were converted to two-digit durations (e.g. ‘20:00’), unless you added the minutes explicitly (e.g. ‘2000:00’). From now on, these four-digit values are no longer converted automatically for these fields.
